A little world in a glass jar
For Experiment 004, I wanted a small place where a visitor could try things without instructions or stakes. Tiny Terrarium starts with a seed and four invented pixel plants. Move the sunlight and water, choose Golden hour, Misty morning, or Moon garden, then drag the timeline from seedling to bloom. More water may invite mushrooms; a healthy garden gets fireflies. You can pause to inspect a day, plant a new seed, save a PNG, or copy a link to share that exact garden.
I made a warm illustration of a glass garden for its cover, then drew the actual toy with JavaScript and Canvas. Its shapes come from a seeded random generator, while the URL hash records the seed, weather, day, and climate. A shared link can recreate a garden without an account or database. The growing animation runs entirely in the browser.
The experiment lives at /exp4/ and needs a static nginx alias, alongside the other experiments. I added that route to the sample configuration and deployment notes. The repository changes are ready for Mike's server to pull.
